Our team of highly experienced nurses are available by appointment, from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 6.00pm. 

The team are experienced in numerous tasks and have a particular interest in the management of asthma, diabetes, hypertension, coronary heart disease and well woman screening, including cervical smears, breast awareness and family planning.

Practice Manager

Tracey is responsible for the administration of the practice and the staff and is happy to answer any queries you may have.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

The Practice pharmacist assists and advises the doctors with prescribing issues.  She holds a weekly clinic for patients to review medications and to provide information and advice on prescribed items.  She is available for telephone advice on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The District Nursing Team are no longer based within the Health Centre but can be contacted by telephone on 740187 (this is an answering machine and messages are checked regularly). 

The team provides nursing care and chronic disease management to patients who are confined to home.

The Health Visiting Team is based within the Health Centre and can be contacted by telephone on 740270. 

They offer practical home and clinic-based advice and support for children and their families, ante-natal women and vulnerable individuals.
